I am much bemused by your fascination with pipes and drums.
As one who has suffered the delights of the kilt for nine years let me put the record straight.
I do not know if you are aware what a plaid is?? any way it is what most people would refer to as that blanket wrapped around there upper torso. well it is locked in place by a plaid broach which has a very long pin. That pin has a double purpose. After one has been standing for hours freezing cold, and finally dismissed, everybody makes a dash for a piss. This is when the broach pin reveals its second purpose. It is used to winkle ones willie out into the freezing cold so that it can perform one of its purposes in its life if you get my drift?? No scotsman would be without one!!
