I knew Sid very well when he was a young Marine, married a local girl(Deal) enjoyed his football, I know he went to the Ferries after his time at the Pit, not seen him for a long time though.

I came across another Deal-ite today ready to share his extensive knowledge of bed-warming in a letter to the Guardian, one Jack Hawker.
Maybe they are taking over by stealth?
Perhaps I should provide the link...

Keith? - Did Sid see Matcham while he was there? Did he Keith - did he?
JHG - don't let John hear you say that - you know how Spurs mad he is!

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

Striking civil servants Roger and he wanted it done in front of their families, Melissa if you get chance to see Spurs putting 5 past Newcastle yesterday you will become a convert

Thanks Martin.
Great result for Spurs indeed - makes Harry's decision perhaps harder make, although isn't it every football manager's dream to manage the national team ?

The England job has become a poisoned chalice , 95% politics and PR 5% football, the press will stalk him from day one and savage him at the first opportunity. The Premier league is surely better suited to Harry's talents?
