21:5938712When I first joined the Council there was all this talk about the joining of Councils the Labour group wanted an East Kent triangle of Canterbury,Thanet and Dover, while the Tories were talking about an East Kent Cluster the previous 3 plus Shepway. Now the waste contract is almost finished but on joint services the Cllrs in Shepway are having some doubts and look as if they are not going to join at the moment, but may later.

22:0338713Keith no but you have to remember that many of Deal District Councillors are also Town Councillors and perhaps they were getting more positive Vibes from Deal, while of course only Cllr Frayne on the Tory's side is a DDC cllr and a Town Cllr.We all know that Council procedure is slow and if you have to ask for some information from another Council it can take months to get over all the hurdles.
