Cruise Liners.
- 13 July 2008 07:203939Anyone popping down for a sunday stroll on the seafront today will be delighted to see two hugely glamourous and fantastic ships docked here...the Carnival Splendour has returned from its 3 day jaunt..to pick up passengers for a 12 dayer in the Med I believe.
Also in is the fab Crystal Symphony. I once though this ship was a huge one, it was one of our earliest cruise visitors, but it has been dwarfed in recent times by other striking sea monsters and is today.
email: dover7@msn.com - 13 July 2008 16:343952Have just driven back to Dover from Folkstone and just before you get to aycliff, the view as you come over the brough of the hill has got to be one of the best made even better in the sunshine and with two beautiful cruise liners as an added bonus.
- 25 July 2008 07:304309Well the view today Jan will be just as spectacular, because basking here in the glorious sunshine is the magnificent Carnival Splendor, all 113,000 tons of her...this is huge I dont know how it fits into the harbour, if anyone hasnt seen her yet..well now's yer chance.
Dwarfed beside her is the quaint but ancient looking Saga Ruby.
