This video is what I saw on FB last week, that was enough.
Thanks. It's taking all of my willpower to not post him something really angry. He'd probably get off on the attention.
I'm honestly furious. I was trying to concentrate on something important, but there is no concentrating when it sounds like someone is shouting through your letterbox and the windows are vibrating. For two and a half hours.
Truly astonishes me just how large some peoples egos are. Like the whole town should be forced to listen to this ****.

Johnny B is well-known on the local pub circuit as a glorified karaoke singer.
He works at Tesco if you want a word.
Heard enough of him in the Bull.
I'm sure there are parts of the town he might get the Micky Flanagan response - "cup of cold piss"

What amazes me are the number of people who seem to like him, lots of "love It" on FB. Someone near should get their own back by blasting out whatever music they think he and his followers might hate, classical or something.

I'm guessing that were he to make a habit of these performances in normal times, someone would swiftly lodge a complaint. Lockdown presumably is an excuse to offer oneself as a public entertainer for the benefit of our shared community spirit. I can't help but wonder whether there are shiftworkers in the vicinity who are privately grumbling.

Does he do requests? Nessun Dorma, for example, or Agadoo?
(I always wanted to take a ghetto-blaster into the oil tanks above Eastern Docks and try Bach's Toccata and Fugue or Van Halen's Jump.)

On the plus side at least we've got the 'rainbow' back without being sodomites or spermophages!

Lack of PPE in care homes and apparently this is also the fault of the Gummint!
If I'd paid £40k+ a year to keep my mother-in-law locked up I'd be wondering what they had spent all the money on.

To be fair by the time the homes and other non hospital care systems realised how much PPE they might need there was non available. Probably because the NHS had grabbed the lot for hospitals and forgetting other groups might need some like the GPs and ambulance service as well home carers.

Yup. When the government turns into a regime and throws an iron blanket over your country; determines for what purpose, and how many times, you may even leave your house, and prosecutes you if you disobey; forbids you to visit your family or meet your friends; makes informing the only growth industry; cancels your hospital appointments and tells you not to visit a GP or A&E; upends your education; chucks you out of a job, and wrecks your economy; then it has assumed an unprecented level of control over your life and your country and, in doing so, must take an unprecedented level of responsibility for what happens to it and in it. Yup indeedy.

How does the straw man argument apply for me doing my own shopping but not a care home?

Could be worse; my government could ordering me to leave my home and go and try to terminate other poor sods whose government had ordered them to try to terminate me. An enforced potter in the garden, I can do and seems mild by comparison!

OK, I'll try again. When a government forces a state of childhood on its adult population, it must take responsibility for its new children.

Interesting parallels. I seem to remember during the Iraq war, troops complaining of lack of proper equipment and having to source their own kit?

Daughter's birthday cake modelled on the Chinese Bat Lung virus.
Pangolin flavour.
