Laura Joins Police Crime Commissioner Candidate on The Campaign Trail
****************************************************************
Laura Sandys MP joined Craig Mackinlay, the Conservative Police Crime Commissioner Candidate, on the campaign trail over the weekend.
Laura said: "Craig and I were out in Broadstairs and Ramsgate on Saturday chatting with hundreds of local residents. I always enjoy high street stalls but it was particularly great to have him out on the high street with us as it gave people an opportunity to put their questions to him directly. People were very receptive to Craig's no-nonsense approach and his message that crime reduction is his number one objective."
Craig said: "I was delighted to spend a day with Laura Sandys and her team in Broadstairs and Ramsgate. It was obvious just how popular she is locally. We received a warm welcome from residents, who share my concerns about anti-social behaviour, drugs and front line policing. I received a clear message from the residents of Thanet - they want a Police Commissioner who will be tough on crime and tough on criminals."
