  Two points to consider here. Photographs taken in a public setting can be freely published (unless the taking of such pictures was specifically prohibited in advance, and such prohibition clearly communicated. On the other hand if a parent objects and asks for them to be removed, I believe the parent's wishes should take precedence. No point in diggin heels in, just delete them as Paul asks, please.
