  went down for regatta with person in wheelchair , who wanted to have drink at cafe on beach , but what a joke there is a walkway but is like a rumble strip and not wheelchair friendly , the seaport centre === lift out of action and at end of pier cafe closed and finally the seafront hotel; closed ------ so all in all any vistors would have thought dover gone down hill quick since last year
  as for the improvements on seafront for me complete waste of money should have gone for a similar look to eastbourne or weymouth
  and spent the money on sand for the kids on the beach like weymouth in an are a where the sea does not touch
