    Thank you deeply, Vic, as always. I know the Friends of the Dover War Memorial Project have been working very hard towards this - as indeed, they have been doing on a heap of different supportive activities since the moment Andy and Michelle and Brian first mentioned a year ago the idea of creating a Friends group

    Here we never cease our work in memory and honour of our Fallen. Within this recently are the many phone conversations and letters we've been having from people delighted about the new plaque and the thought their Loved Ones can be remembered in this way. There are already thirteen new names on the list for 2012; we're looking forward to visiting their relatives and friends.

    That we do not forget means so much to so many. There have been tears shed, yet also great joys. It is truly a privilege to be doing this work of Remembrance.
