08:0081858There was a few threads on this one so didnt know which one to use but here I am to remind peeps....
Dont forget the big switch on today at 6pm in Market Sq. Switch on by childrens entertainer Sid Sloane who is appearing in the latest panto at The Marlowe.
But also dont forget that the event goes on all day long all between Maison Dieu House and Market Sq. All sorts of things happening..see the advert on the anchor page.
If any of you teamsters get pictures we can always use a few good ones. I will be down later to hopefully get a few pictures myself all being well. I look out my early window and see snow everywhere as I write...gulp! Hopefully the roads will be clear for everyone. The gritters have been out.
oh happy day!

10:0781874Yes thanks for that Keef. Got email have responded. Good luck today at the match. Woolly drawers needed all round. I used to stand on the football terraces and know how cold it can get around the extremities.
Have added to post 27 now by putting more info on the frontpage, so coupled with the advert as well on the anchor page we have done our best to let everyone know about the Christmas Lights switch on.

17:4281913A shame the town council arranged the snow machine for this morning instead of 6pm!

19:3481941I was with your ladies Jan,but I braved it with Jeanette, couldn't talk Scrooge or as he is know on here Ross to eat a mince pie or drink a mulled wine though.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
