We are all aware of the couple who swiped the one for Kelly Turner in a Hythe shop but I understand that over the weekend an RNLI one was lifted from Hollis Motors despite it being secured. Now today one for RAF veterans has been nicked from Nifties in the Charlton Centre.

If I counted correctly (those mentioned on Facebook) about 6 charity boxes for various charities have been stolen over the last few days, coincidence I very much doubt it.

Were the other 3 in Dover Jan? The CCTV images are very clear and as it was done in a side street in Hythe I assume the culprits hail from there, the problem could be that the awful plight of Kelly is not known there so people may not take much notice.

At the moment I can only remember The Little Kitchen and Baguette Ella, Hollis Motors, Hythe and Nifties but I am sure there were a couple more boxes but can't remember which site I saw them on.

Just seen these new reports of theft on Facebook , the last one is one of those I could not think of a pet shop. ......
1....."31 mins · Saint Margaret'S At Cliffe ·
URGENT: Theft of Kelly Turner collection from LA SALLE VERTE Cafe in Dover... Police called!!! Man with woman + pushchair ...
Just happened..."
2..."Age concern charity shop have had theirs nicked to, the lady just told me, not sure when though"
3..." I would say the same combination stole our two last Monday, woman was poss Eastern European, light skinned, guy, mid thirties,English."............"They came in am,around 11 ish, asked about fish but recognised them as time wasters.Got distracted by serving someone else so feel sure the two boxes went then. And CHAINED,just to repeat to the counter so cutting gear would have been needed. And all for around £20...........

They are going to get caught soon as more people will be on their guard, hopefully they will get a custodial sentence.

An attempted theft at La Salle Verte cafe earlier ,customers blocked the door and it was handed back ,the owner let them go as they had a kid ,and didnt want the child upset which to me is ludicrous ,These were Eastern Europeans
Apparently the Police had to come from Canterbury how daft is that

Romanians? Crime? Surely not!
You'll be telling me that Vietnamese go in for cannabis farming, Turks import Heroin, Columbians import Cocaine, Nigerians do computer scams and that Albanians are behind the people trafficking from France next or that 1 in 5 of Maximum Security Prisoners is a Mohammedan!!

No wonder the owner let them go, he probably thought of how long he was going to have to look after them until the police arrived.

The local scumbag who is on two different shop CCTV images has been named on Facebook.
I would love to name him here but I do not think it would be the right thing to do until he is charged by the police which will hopefully be very soon.
