    fascinating programme, spine chilling at times.

    hard to imagine what it was like to be subject to blanket bombing.

    what struck me was the way that the opposition relied on the aerial photographs without properly understanding them.

    the radar towers were lit up for all to see!!

    the pics of north weald airfield cracked me up having lived nearby in the past with no knowledge of what they had been up to.
    the photos showed no planes there, whilst all the time they were housed undercover a few miles down the road.


    mr goerring seemed to make one mistake after another, first he would wipe out our merchant fleet within days(failed), then wipe out our aircaft(failed) then break the spirit of londoners(failed).

    no wonder mr hitler stopped listening to hm and decided to march on russia.

    unfortunately that wasn't a great success either.
