gettin back to what you and peter are saying, the truth is that most people vote for the same party each time, no point in politicians talking to them.
the minority that sway elections are those that watch and listen to political and current affairs programmes, read the broadsheets and make a judgement based on that.

I read in today's Telegraph that Peregrine Massey
High Sheriff of Kent writes in with a suggestion of what to write and where in the Census form. Namely that you should use the space provided to emend your address to include the country where you live. Use it or lose it he writes.
