There are a few very simple questions to be asked of DDC which are :

    - Why on the original planning application form where it asks questions regarding the site’s Foul Sewage and Surface Water Disposal Mr D. Funnell, the site freeholder, marked as Not Applicable?
    - Why did DDC validate an application that clearly was filled in a way to mislead and state falsehoods? WHERE did DDC and the Planning Committee think these contaminated waters were going to go?
    - Why did not DDC or members of the Planning Committee question this, as even back in 2014 it was widely acknowledged that car washes produce hazardous waste, spray and slurry runoff, and sites should be constructed accordingly to contain any hazardous spray or runoff endangering environment or the public, by way of the installation of waste slurry hazardous water catchment tanks, screened off washing areas to contain hazardous spray produced in the washing process, and hard-standing surfaces with correct drainage that are not permeable?
Ramyar car wash has NONE of these safeguards in place.

A number of people have told me as they have walked past the site on the pavement they have been met by gusts of water spray blown on to them from the car wash site. And I have personally seen on numerous occasions dogs being walked by their owners, walking into the toxic foam build-up on the edge of the site, which is there on a near permanent daily basis.
