    Lets get some reality into all of this.

    Without doubt Labour picked the wrong candidate, probably with good intention, but to be fair labour has never won the seat which in reality is(or should be) a tory seat.
    The lib dems did do well with all the problems they have/had to hold the seat

    without doubt UKIP did well, but thats all they did, they didnt get the breakthrough, and farrage now must be kicking himself for not being the candidate.
    But clearly it was a protest vote against the conservative govt.
    even admitted by the mouse himself.

    The tories coming third is a nightmare for the mouse, and the party at large, in a seat that the conservatives must win to get overall control at the next election.
    Of course even more conservative associations will distance themselves from the mouse and even more splits open up.
