Be interested to know how far forumites with Bus Pass have managed to travel using their concessionary pass?

We also have just got our new ones, yes they are neede my wife use,s her most days, even to Hastings,to see family Canterbury,Folkestone,Rye,infact all round.I do not use it so much at this time, but with fuel going up and up the time soon will be that the car stays at home or got rid of,and we both use the bus,but still better at this time to get to the hos/by car, sometimes we have to be there at 0830 in the morning, then get across to Margate Hos/Ashford on the same day so the car is much better for that.

hastings will be my next destination in order to visit the aquarium, the route is not direct though due to an eu ruling which means that we have to get off and board another one just short of the destination.

the qualifying age is being staggered, all very unclear.
tom is ok for his as boris has promised to underwrite the costs of londoners who reach 60 and don't get one.

I got my new one in the post this morning. I have used it a lot for hospital trips to Canterbury, QEQM at Margate and William Harvey at Ashford, it has been a god send to me as I cannot drive. Bit of a pain getting to Ashford as you have to go via Flokestone. QEQM Margate is also quite a journey as you have to get off at Ramsgate and get the Loop to Margate which is a very good service. I am lucky living in Whitfield as the Ramsgate bus goes via Sandwich road and the stop is only five minutes from my house. I have also used it for pleasure to Folkestone and Canterbury.

Howard, am I to expect some fell occurrence over the next nine months or so? I do not feel (as yet) deserving, but being at one with the school pupil does carry something of a caché, I shall look out for a satchel, just to finish things off.
