Thats a shame but of course would be costly Alexander.
When I am next volunteering down the Roman Painted House in a few weeks I will see what Brian Philp knows in case he did some work in the area as it would be nice to know if the remains of St Martin Le Grand's graveyard extended that far over. Always nice to find some new piece of history, especially as I believe not much was found in the DTIZ area. All very interesting. There is a skeleton and his lead coffin on display at the Painted House - he came from St Martin Le Grand so makes me wonder if the new skeleton is of someone so high in status or of the same period/area. Of course though we may never know.
