Well, what a surprise! The Bradley was open yesterday. Shoppers appeared to be leaving the place with bags...

Yes it did stay open, they own the leasehold to the restaurant so were unaffected by the closure. They are still trying to sell though..

Had a look around earlier, rather a lot of renovation work going on with some of the original traders back to normal with a badly lit furniture section being new.
No more bell.
Not sure what this is in the dock outside.

Hi Howard, it is a totally enclosed lifeboat. The Maritime Skills Academy is using these boats in the Wellington Dock providing seafarers and prospective seafarers with live hands on experience of launching and maneuvering these lifeboats and, in the process, helping a life saving equipment manufacturer test and improve its latest designs and equipment - a cooperation between Marina, Manufacturer and Training provider.

Good to see that the new proprietors are looking to bring in brands that appeal to a younger demographic, been missing up until now.

Certainly something it needs, there are only so many check shirts and tweed jackets a man can own!
Seems the new proprietors have done more in a couple of weeks than the previous had done in a few years, good luck to them.
