I see that at least one pillock has the union flag upside down. Good job Augusta wasn't there she would have hit him with her handbag!

Hardly a weekend goes by now without a visitation from the far right.

"There will be temporary disruption to local roads and access to parking during the protest."
The kind of disruption this mob will cause to the town is totally unacceptable. i hope all locals they pass will turn their backs to them and totally ignore them.

There was very little disruption the last couple of times Jan, traffic moved freely and people done their shopping, nothing like the scenes we have seen in some northern towns with two different sets of yobs looking for a Saturday afternoon punch up.
On the whole people in Dover are rather civilised and have no truck with extremist groups, some take a leaflet offered others politely refuse. I begrudge the waste of police resources on such demonstrations though.
One last thing, does anyone know what they are protesting about?

Plenty of police officers in town at 10 am, 3 hours before the march sets off.

Police standing around in groups watching skinheads boozing themselves up in the road outside the 8 Bells (an alcohol dispersal zone).

The police were right in that there were a lot more people today than last weekend.

Marching towards the Port earlier...both sides of the main carriageway blocked completely. No traffic flowing into or out of one of the nations main Ports...

Ridiculous situation when both sides of the carriageway are closed, also Brian refers to the trouble outside the Sports Centre.
Every march without fail is ambushed at the same place, considering most of the Kent Police Force was on hand surely some officers could be stationed there.

Just read on Facebook that smoke bombs were thrown just outside the swimming pool, the mother said her two young children were frightened.
What do these marches actually achieve......nothing except cause resentment from the local people.
At one point there was a lot of traffic along my road, I wonder if it was locals avoiding the town centre.

The fracas in Castle Street happened just after mid-day with missiles being thrown by the counter demonstrators.

Traffic chaos in Castle Street.
At the front is the 68 bus taken out of service and as we can see two ambulances next to it, pure conjecture but I am wondering if the bus got hit by a missile and the driver thought "enough is enough".
