    Precisely my point Neil. We obviously share the same paranoia.

    Returning migrants to France is currently possible under EU law due to the protocol known as the Dublin arrangement but that will cease at the end of 2020. After that, there is no legal basis or route for returns to France or any other EU country. Furthermore, it would be illegal to attempt to enter French waters without an agreement and attempt to return would be immigants to French soil.

    As a lawyer and being in the privileged position of an MP in terms of accessing information, I cannot see how Mrs Elphicke would not be aware of these facts.

    Yet she continues to peddle a specious tough line presumably to booster her appeal to the voters. Which, of course, is entirely unrelated to the mistrust she incurred by her contradictory stances on her husband's sex pest predicament.
