It would sound like the the Bullingdon Club except for one point:
"...members from working-class backgrounds were ridiculed by a clique of former public schoolboys."
Serves the bloody proles right I say.
It does all seem a little ridiculous, probably a silly situation blown out of proportion. I mean, after all there is a picture of Paul 'red wedge' Weller in the background so it can't have been that much of a right wing affair. Oh, wait a second...isn't David Cameron's favorite pop song 'the Eton Rifles'? Perhaps they are just far right wing idiots after all.

the problem with these halfwits is that they will stroll into the boardrooms of city institutions and the higher echelons of the civil service as of right and will consider to be in their rightful place because of their parents wealth and the private education they have had.
i do have strong doubts about public schools and the perpetuation of the class system.

This is absolutely shocking.
The original Nazi songs, such as Horse Wiesel, don't glorify the murder of people, including Jews.
Nazism took an ugly turn gradually, getting worse and worse, and included the murder of many disabled people too.
The end product of Nazism was not what many of its original supporters had immagined or wanted.
But to sing songs about murdering Jews many decades after it all happened is the same as glorifying Nazism in its worse forms, in its later manifested forms which many Nazis in the early 30s had not envisaged.
For this to happen at Oxford University in Britain and to involve Tory elite cadettes of the future political class is totally unacceptable!
Glorifying genocide is something that our society must not ever accept!

A bunch of immature silly, no idiot, students. For some like Keith to try to make the party political claims he is, is frankly even more absurd.

This bunch are just expressing what has been passsed down to them, they obviously do not have the brains to realise that many miners and their families, (as miners BarryW not political). Will, be offended by that picture.

It is not Tory party values that are in question here, it is the idiots that this thread is about and anyone who thinks it is harmless fun.
To lose your livelihood, profession and for some, even their lives and then be taunted by these Tory fledglings, is distasteful.

Bern, your post #4 is the voice of reason.

Hear hear Jan/Bern. Gary your first paragraph is spot on as well. However these fledglings come from all corners of the political spectrum, not just the Tory right.

Peter.
I did not use the word left or right and I only said Tory because that is what they are. or are you saying they are not?
Had the numpties been Labour, I would be saying the same things.

We therefore agree Gary. I am merely saying that while they may call themselves Tory, they are not recognisable as such.
