    Keith,
real-time reality is important. If we were to wait for a general election, it could mean waiting years. If I tied myself to a party in opposition, I would exclude myself from any participation in the present Government and from making any proposals, possibly sitting around for years repeating the same musical bars of one party.

By being free in spirit, speaking out against what I perceive to be negative decisions proposed in Parliament and supporting what in my view are good proposals coming from Parliament, I participate in the democratic views of the public opinion, which does have an effect on Parliament's decisions.

For this reason my views are found in the comments sections of online News such as Sky.

To simply be a member of UKIP and renounce freedom of spirit would be just sitting about letting other people make policies and never participating in their creation.
