As I have always said, the less politicians interfere, the less they do, the less influence have over our lives, the less they spend and tax, the better it is. We must always start from the premiss that government (not just politicians) is essentially incompetent.

As a result of riding two horses at the same time, I would say: Personal betterment and the greater good, to give each horse a name.
Best to stick to the one GG and 'encourage' the same attitude from business.
