Does anyone know where I can borrow a decent banjo for the weekend?
We have a guest staying until Monday who is a well-known player from Nashville.

Thanks folks, banjos have been located and will be played impromptu down at Blakes tomorrow during lunchtime. The guest in question is Roni Stoneman, known in bluegrass and country music circles as the First Lady of Banjo and she would love to meet you all. Bring the spoons along Keith but leave the wooden one at home please.

Bugger - I missed all this yesterday as I was driving my son back to Durham Uni. I have a banjo - love 'em! - and would have loved to come to Blakes for this event - can't now, otherwise engaged. But nice one - unbelievable! Have a good time - actually I don't need to say that!! Just, enjoy!

Those who could not make it missed a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I have a video of Roni and Ray playing Duelling Banjos which I shall post up somewhere for all to watch.
