Most of us would like to see Burlington House tumble down taking the multi story car park with it like a pack of cards. Perhaps the RAF could help out

The nicest part of the town is the Castle and Light Tower Church. Officially, this church is of Saxon construction, but many older versions given by historians consider it to be of Celtic origin, from about the fourth century AD. I am of this opinion too.

It's worth looking in to, as it could attract historians and archaeologists to Dover and become focus of national debate, as we'd have then the oldest church in Britain.

If you're interested, Hannah, there is an old book from Reverend Puckley of Dover, written in 1864 or there abouts, explaining why this church can only have been built by the Britons, with some later Saxon modifications.

    It's available in Dover Library.

I've published a few articles on the matter, with historical and esoteric considerations.
