Our children and our children's children will look back at the big debt,
And feel very happy that there ancestor enjoined themselves So much on the big sports day.

the olympic stadium will be a long source of revenue when it is handed over to the new tenants.
tottenham applied to take it over but the committee said they preferred a football team to play there.

None of the seafront toilets have been DHB owned.

I have been using the overground train in north London that terminates at Stratford over the past few days. Friday, there were a few folk in sequinned union-jack jackets/dresses - off to the opening. Saturday one union-jack worn as a cape. In addition to all of this the trains are more full going Eastwards, many tourists and dolled-up visitors, volunteers and staff.
Lots of flats for rent in West Hampstead too.
Benefits? Few if any. Except for the politicians...come the election one will boast that 'they' got the games and the other, 'they' did splendidly also.
Plus, recordings or Boris played on the buses, extolling all to plan ahead while travelling across town.
Lots of extra station staff also and relays of 'greeters' on the pavement, eager to help/yearning to be busy?
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Post 24. Beg to disagree but the ones near the Clock Tower are DHB owned.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

Do you mean the Marina Toilets that you need a code to gain entry? they are specifically for the users of the Marina.

Have always thought the value of Sport to be beyond financial benefit....the final
paragraph sums it up for me......
``At a time of austerity, the money spent on London 2012 is providing not only a global
celebration of sport, but a financial boost that could help thousands of Britons for years
to come.``
