I knew Bill for many years and a great guy he was.
Bill served with me on the sports council for many years, and although he called a spade a spade he was also a very warm hearted guy.
Bill passion of course was for angling, and at sports council meetings he never missed an opportuninty to promote the sport at all levels.
But Bill also encouraged many others and other sports people at meetings, showing valued guidance, and sincere help wherever he could.
I'm pleased to have been in the company of Bill who enriched my life.
My thoughts are with the family at this time
R.I.P. Bill

Brian;
Bill certainly didn't operate behind the scenes on the sports council, he was upfront, pushing his cause
never frightened to say was he was thinking

I never fished in Dover much but when I did, I always got my bait from Bill's shop.
He would always take time to give you advice on what was happening on the fishing scene around Dover.
A gentleman that will be missed and remembered by many.
RIP Bill
