This time in Cherry Tree Avenue.
Was a pawn shop for a short while, back in antiquity Dane Bros turf accountants.
Good to see another empty shop in use.

Incidentally, behind it was the bakehouse for the bakers at 87 London Road, now Stuff. My parents ran it for a while as a satellite from their bakers in Peter Street.

Another venue for forumites to increase their tattoo acreage. What's not to like?
See you there.

as one of my friends says "you put your art on a wall, I choose to wear mine" - nothing wrong with good tattoos

I am not into self-mutilation and prefer to leave my art indoors.

And that is your prerogative - those who like tattoos and/or piercings do not see it as self mutilation

The first floor of that place needs a lick of paint though doesn't it ?
Good Luck to any new business opening in Dover. Personally, I don't like tattoos, but respect other people who do; as they say, each (body) to their own.

reminds me of a smith and jones sketch many years ago when the tattooist just finishing on a customers back says that it was an unusual request for a tattoo.
the customer says "1 thought of just having a pollack then thought no i will have a pair of pollacks".
nervous looking tattooist "sorry did you say pollacks?"

I like your friends saying Ross, I must remember that.

I have eleven tattoos and am used to the mixed reactions I get, though I have to say they are usually more positive than negative. I appreciate they are not for everyone but each to their own.

I always thought it was spelt "w-i-f-e b-e-at-e-r" or "t-r-a-m-p j-u-i-c-e"

I suppose asking a girl if you can see her tattoo beats the old 'golden rivet' or 'come in for a coffee' dodges but its not for me. Horrible things and isn't it about time this particular fashion moved on? One 'celeb' recently spent $thousands removing her tattoos. Now that is a fashion I would like to see catch on.
