  No wonder I have not looked in here for a while, he we go again on the same old, tired arguments. Its all cyclical, it will happen anyway, I don't want to change so it's all just a plot to extract more taxes (when has a government ever needed excuses - as if the current impoverished state were not excuse enough), whatever we do has no effect so I can keep on burning trees/coal/oil as much as I like.
  
  It is all very sad. This is a small closed system of a planet we all live on and yet so many care so little about what will be left of it for our children and grandchildren. A look at history shows that wars are pretty cyclical so may as well sharpen your swords, no point trying to find a different solution.
