You might like to look at your phone bill and on there you will be met with an interesting new charge. (Well poor ould BT are short of money..down to their last billion in annual profit...and from their directors viewpoint "every little helps!"...helps them.)

I speak of the new charge for..wait for it.. PROCESSING YOUR BILL!
Yes BT now charge you £4.95 to process your bill. Whether you pay by cheque, by credit card, or indeed with gold bars, they will charge you an extra £4.95 for the process.

This is the same as going into M&S to buy a pair of jeans for £20. Then when you get to the counter or till they say..
"That'll £4.95 extra sir/madam for processing your bill!"
So the same pair of jeans will cost you £24.95.

Of course M&S dont do any such thing because the competition on the High St would kill it off, but BT do it. This company has too much power, and lets face it in reality have a complete and total monopoly. Lets say they have 10 million customers, well thats an extra £ 49,500,000 raised at a stroke on every single bill. Multiply that by 4 times a year and you are up to £199,000,000 profit and that's before they charge you for anything proper.

Too much power, too much of a monopoly, too large profits...I'm with the unions..nationalise them.
