I got there just as they were doing lap 42. Thanks Phil or the very informative chat about the history of the place.
Here they go for the 43rd time, looks like they are going down into the depths of the earth!!! What amazed me most was how fresh faced they looked on emerging from the 42nd lap when my legs were aching after just climbing back up the flight of steps here that lead down to the entrance!
If you are able to get down there and give some support I am sure they would appreciate it!
