    As announced at our 'do' this evening three of our young members are carrying out an amazing (mad?) feat of climbing the Grand Shaft staircase on the 7th April to the equivalent of MOUNT EVEREST between them !! It is to raise money for the Western Heights Preservation Society to enable us to replace stolen tools and the creation of a dry secure tool store inside the Fort to ensure that our excellent volunteers can continue the good work that is carried out up there which enable our Open Days to take place.
