Marek - you did the right thing. Too often abortion is presented as a "clean" option, one that will solve everything, and so often it does not, but with few other options presented realistically girls and women take the option on offer, often out of desperation and often under duress. That option destroys lives - not just that of the baby, but of the woman and of her family, in so many ways. But this is not an anti-abortion thread, but a thread that questions wheher or not abortion is a suitable subject for TV advertising. I do not believe it is, given that the agencies that promote abortion rarely if ever offer the other options in a realistic manner, rarely if ever offer other contacts for the women who might look at other options, and who make money from abortion. It is a commercial exercise, no more and no less, and as it results in dead babies and traumatised mothers it does not appear appropriate for TV ads.
