Howard, I know of another polytechnic turning university that made a similar mistake right up to the point of having headed paper printed, too rude to put on here but I'll email you
About 30 years ago when I worked in Riyadh I had a Palestinian friend whose name was Fouad Abu Rafeh. He was a structural engineer and was in the process of setting up his own consultancy business.
At the time it was fashionable to have a company name in English which could be easily made into an acronym and he sought my advice. Without giving it much thought I said, just call it what it is. He spent lots of money promoting Abu Rafeh Structural Engineering Company (ARSE Co). He hasn't spoken to me since.
