    Similarly, the Folkestone Road excavations are really making local residents' lives a misery. Relentless mind-shattering cacophany.

    Two weeks now in the same spot and looking set for a third - all for the sake of widening the pavement by a couple of feet. Not worth the disruption for such non- essential work.
