Britannia having inherited the Roman Empire, Dover is soon to receive a Roman Garden, in addition to the Roman House which is painted and situated in the Roman Lawn area of York Street.

This Is Kent announces: "The plan is to create a sensory garden, a Roman herb garden, history trail, planting beds and a vertical growing area to avoid damaging the area where a Roman bath is believed to be buried."

With our Light Tower Church overlooking the Sea, unique in the world as being the only church with a Roman lighthouse integrated into the ecclesiastic complex, and the Roman House in the Town, and now a Roman Garden coming soon, and with possibly a Roman Bath still to be uncovered, the question arises: why go to Rome?
