  If the State started diminishing the influence of the Unions, within next to no time we'd have Industrial Revolution work methods back in force.

  Indeed no, Barry. That part of history must never repeat itself. We must not let it happen again.
  At present, we have slipped dangerously back in the direction of those Industrial Revolution methods, where many private business owners use exploitation of the workforce to run their business.
  
  One way is to just lay the workforce off and go abroad where they employ people for a fraction of the UK salary. Oh, see Pfizer!
