So by suggesting I don't know what I'm writing, again it's a desperate bluff, as you realise that it's only a question of time before one or more political parties start bringing the inevitable subject up.
Only in very recent history I was being blasted for being a stalinist mentioning a Wealth Tax (or whatever equivalent I used), and now two parties in Parliament have brought up the idea.
You know full well that Barry is stunned, and to boot, the Tories did not get a sudden flush of public support after these announcements from Cable, Clegg, Miliband and Ed Balls, but continued to decline in their ratings. According to his theory, the recent polls should have demonstrated a crashing blow for the LibDems and Labour, for proposing a Wealth Tax, and instead his party has been blasted.

When the attack came, and the Soviet army began to take the toll of his disastrous decisions, he went into hiding, expecting to be arrested for treason.
Your comparisons to me being a stalinist correspond to your general views on economy, how the economy should be styled on driving other countries into bankruptcy by attracting their money over to Britain, so that very rich people can avoid taxes and destroy the whole world. A very ugly comparison that reflects very ugly views, a distortion of everything that is Prosperity.
In fact, the exact opposite of Good.

- 29 September 2012 17:53193475It's important to keep every eye open and to ring the alarm bells, as Barry is proposing the Government reduce significantly the upper tax rate in order to attract money out of other countries so as to avoid tax.
And this with the economic crisis and Public Debt that has hit so many countries, not least in Western Europe. The consequences of such a proposal, if ever translated into reality, would be an act of treachery towards our neighbours in Europe. it could cause the complete financial collapse of various economies already riddled with enormous debt.
Barry's proposed solutions are reckless, they could lead to mass upheaval in Europe with dire consequences.
This is why intelligent debate is essential in a democratic society.
So when Barry reverts to the constant tune of calling someone who has seen the fatal dangers of his policies, a stalinist, with all the bits and pieces attached to his allegations, all the more reason to speak back and warn people not to be led into utter catastrophe.
