  It's important to keep every eye open and to ring the alarm bells, as Barry is proposing the Government reduce significantly the upper tax rate in order to attract money out of other countries so as to avoid tax.
  
  And this with the economic crisis and Public Debt that has hit so many countries, not least in Western Europe. The consequences of such a proposal, if ever translated into reality, would be an act of treachery towards our neighbours in Europe. it could cause the complete financial collapse of various economies already riddled with enormous debt.
  
  Barry's proposed solutions are reckless, they could lead to mass upheaval in Europe with dire consequences.
  This is why intelligent debate is essential in a democratic society.
  So when Barry reverts to the constant tune of calling someone who has seen the fatal dangers of his policies, a stalinist, with all the bits and pieces attached to his allegations, all the more reason to speak back and warn people not to be led into utter catastrophe.
  
  We would pass into the history books as the pariah of the world, the cause of sheer disaster through utter greed and contempt, if ever Barry's suggestions were translated into reality.
