    That's not German Alexander.

The Sunderland Flying Boat was one of many Allied four engined warbirds in WW2 along with the Lancaster, Sterling, Halifax, Flying Fortress, Liberator etc...

Luckily for us the German war plans centred around a tactical use of air-power rather than a strategic use. That is why when it came to the Battle of Britain and the Blitz they only really had medium bombers to use and that seriously hampered their bombing efforts. Life would have been even worse for London and our other cities if they had those four engined heavy bombers in 1940.
