    With my parents 2 sisters and 2 brothers we travelled through Berlin en route to Warsaw to visit family, in 1960. Tensions were running high and the British government said they were unable to guarantee our safety.

    We travelled to Harwich via the Hook of Holland by car. A 1948 Bradford Jowett.



    My old Dad was returning to see his family for the first time since 1939.
