I do not know much about football, but I do about fittness,Dover are not fit,I am not on about ball skills,I can see they have that or most of them do,but two points (1) They do not train as a team much, and they need to do that alot more,It takes more than a few hours of training each week to make a good team and the Dover players do not do that.(2) When I was a boxer come trainer I was out training 6days aweek +having a full time job to hold down with long hours,Dover players are only part-time but that does not stop some of them geting out on the road running or c/training,it is not all about skills with the ball you need the fittness to go with it. Yes it was very hot,but all the other football teams playing Saturday were in the same heat, and this is where the fittness comes in, if you are fit and I mean fit you should and would play 69mins of football in all weathers and more than once aweek.Dover do have the making of a good team ,but to get there they are (1)Going to have to play more training as a team that will get them using their skills better as a team.(2) They must as players get fitter, after all they get paid, we done it because we loved doing it.
