  The shelter at end of Wood Ave(Folkestone)has been restored by volunteers, and a seat put back in
  and a photo how the shelter was when built
  and another as it is today restored

  indeed ian the shelter is all things to all men, it afforded the opportunity for someone to smash a bottle there rather than take an exhausting 50 metre walk to the tram shelter.

  Seriously Howard it would make a great book. I did something similar a few years ago 'Curiosities' - abandoned things and places and another called 'Off my Trolley' about abandoned shopping trolleys!
