A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of theft offences after officers stopped a vehicle in Dover in the early hours of Tuesday (6 December 2016).
The Mercedes, which had been seen being driven erratically in the town centre, was reported to have been stolen during a car key burglary in Surrey.
During a subsequent search of a residential address in Dover a quad bike, a number of designer handbags and a quantity of jewellery were seized.
The 24-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, who are both from the Dover area, are in police custody.
