Officers investigating a robbery in Dover have charged a local man.
Kent Police received a report of a robbery at a premises in Elms Vale Road, Dover at 3.19pm yesterday (Thursday 18 June 2015).
A man was arrested near Northbourne Road in connection with the incident shortly afterwards.
Alexander Corbett, 37, of Clarendon Place, Dover was charged with drink driving, possession of a blade in a public place, theft, possession of an article for use in fraud, possession of cocaine, and assault by beating.
He remains in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Friday 19 June.
