Kearsney Parks consultation

Friday, 12 June 2015
Dover District Council has invited people to come along to a series of events to view ideas for restoring and improving Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens, and to let them know what you think.

Events are taking place on:

  • Wednesday 1 July, 6pm to 8pm, at St Peter and St Paul's Church, River
  • Thursday 2 July, 2pm to 5pm in Russell Gardens
  • Saturday 4 July, 11am to 2pm in Kearsney Abbey
  • Monday 6 July, 9am to 11am in Kearsney Abbey
  • Sunday 12 July at River Fete

There will be the chance to see a range of ideas, talk with the Kearsney Parks project team, and have your say on plans for the parks. You will also be able to follow a self-guided historic photo trail in the parks, with a map available at the drop-in sessions. You can call in at any time during the events but parking is limited and visitors are encouraged to walk, cycle or take public transport if they can.

The Kearsney Parks project is being funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund Parks for People programme. For more information on the project visit see www.kearsneyparks.co.uk.
