Detectives investigating robbery issue e-fit
Officers investigating a robbery in Aylesham have released an e-fit of a man they would like the public's help in identifying.


Police are investigating an incident which is reported to have taken place at about 9pm, on 6 December in Kings Road.

The victim, a woman in her fifties, was walking along Kings Road when a silver car pulled up behind her.

It was reported that a man got out of the car and demanded the woman's handbag before assaulting her.

It is believed he then took the bag from her shoulder and got back in the car.

The car left in the direction of Cornwallis Avenue.

The victim sustained bruising to the head as a result.

The suspect is described as around 30 years old, and 5'4" tall with a black beard. He was wearing a black woollen hat and a grey hooded top and had an English accent.
