Appeal following suspicious incident in Dover

Tuesday, 24 February 2015
Officers investigating a report of a suspicious incident in Dover have issued an e-fit image of a woman they would like to speak to in order to assist them with their enquiries.

At just before 8.30am on Thursday 12 February, it was reported a 10-year-old girl was walking near an alley way towards St Radigunds Road, when she heard a whistle from behind.

When she looked behind her, the girl saw a woman approaching.

The young girl continued walking and then heard another whistle. When she turned, it is believed the woman approached the girl and extended an arm towards her.

The victim quickly ran away, to a nearby family member's house, and saw the woman had turned and was walking away.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and have released an electronic-generated image of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
