Tools stolen after Crabble Corn Mill break in

Monday, 24 September 2012
£3,000 of tools and power tools have been stolen from Crabble Corn Mill in Lower Road, River following a break in last night (23/24 September 2012).

The items stolen include electric drills, saws and angle grinders together with petrol hedge strimmers and grass cutters used by the Community Payback team for carrying out work in the local communities. As a charity run entirely by volunteers, the loss comes as a huge blow to those fighting to keep the local attraction open.

Police are investigating.
