Arrests after Dover school break-in

Two teenagers have been arrested and two laptop computers recovered after a break-in at a Dover school.

Kent Police was alerted to the burglary by an alarm going off at St Richard's school in Castle Avenue just before 9.30pm on Monday (3 September 2012).

Officers responding to the alarm call spotted people climbing over a gate to the school and two laptops were found nearby.

The police helicopter was called in to assist in a search and two young men were stopped in Old Charlton Road in Dover and arrested on suspicion of burglary at 10pm. They are currently in custody.
